Achievements

  • He has held solo exhibitions in Dhaka, and internationally in Sydney and the Netherlands, and played a key role as Keeper at the Bangladesh National Museum. His accolades include a Gold Medal at the 7th Asian Art Biennale (1997), the National Art Exhibition prize (1996), and the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Art Direction (Kittonkhola, 2000).
He graduated with a BFA in 1977 from Dhaka University's Faculty of Fine Arts
