Rashedul Huda (b. 1964, Rangpur) is a Bangladeshi artist and educator known for his experimental approach to painting and sculpture.

Achievements

  • solo exhibitions across Dhaka, Tokyo, and Gaibandha. Rashedul received the Best Award in Experimental Sculpture from his alma mater, an Honorable Mention at the 36th AJAC Exhibition in Yokohama, and a painting nomination at the International Biennial of Miniature Arts in Romania.
MFA from the University of Dhaka’s Institute of Fine Arts and has been teaching at Narayangonj Fine Art Institute since 2003.

An assortment of CONTEMPORARY ART

For the third consecutive segment, Bishwo Shahitto Kendra (BSK) has organised a group art exhibition featuring artworks by 40 noted and promising Bangladeshi artists at its art gallery. Director general of Bangla Academy Shamsuzzaman Khan inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest while Professor Bulbon Osman and artist Abdus Shakoor Shah spoke at the event as special guests on May 2. Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed presided over the event.
